WIRE FISH

Room 13 enjoyed making wire fish as part of their Ocean study.

There was a variety of different shaped wire fish.

These were decorated by winding wire, threaded with beads, buttons, sequins and feathers.

The students became very competent at using the wire to create interesting and attractive fish.

Do come and visit Room 13 to see these wonderful fish on display.

2009 Art

There has been lots of lovely art work produced by the children through out the school.  Rooms 11 and 5 have completed some stunning paintings inspired by looking at a still-life arrangement of a vase of flowers.   They enjoyed  using paint to create beautiful pictures which they are all really proud of!

Rooms 13 and 6 have been involved in Printmaking.  They constructed cardboard blocks  and used different textures to create a "Garden of Flowers".  We used a mangle to make our prints.  Each child made several prints using different coloured papers and inks.  The students found printmaking a fascinating process.
