WELCOME TO ROOM 3 2010

This is the first time, as far as anyone knows, that we have a senior boys' class.  To date our class has had a busy year in all of the learning areas.

Each day we commence with prayer.  A rostered group of 3 boys leads us with both traditional and creative prayers and unless we are attending Mass we recite one decade of the ROSARY on Friday.

This is our Religious Education corner and as you can see we are studying about the SACRAMENTS of the Church.

Here are some of the activities we have completed in our R.E. books.

Our school's TOPIC and R.E theme for the year has been based on COMMUNITIES.  Last term we studied how war effects the lives of people living in NZ communities and abroad.  We concentrated on Anzac Day as well as World War 2.

In science we are presently studying OCEAN COMMUNITIES.  At the start of this topic we created questions which will be discussed, researched and answered as we learn how ocean communities depend upon one another for survival and the impact of humans on these communities.

We are currently working on our OCEAN ART, and will show our work right here very soon.......

During Term 2 we decided to improve our drawing and sketching skills.  Our subject was SHOES.  If you have time you are welcome to visit our classroom after school to view our displays.
