FITNESS FOCUS

As part of our motivation to become more fit, Mrs Morris' husband and the colleagues he works with at Telecom, generously donated pedometers they'd used in an office competition to step up their fitness.  Although we've only just begun using them, we're finding that reading how many steps we've done after each fitness session is a great incentive for us to put more energy into our moves.  We record our steps and compare our results each day.  

In the photographs below you can see us enjoying a game of Tupawae with Miss Franich, during which which wore our pedometers so we're able to compare how many steps we do during a game, with three fitness routines in the morning.  In ICT we're recording our data, which we'll use to generate discussion as to what activities require us to move more.
