Term 3 has arrived........
Room 5 has had a great first half of the year. We have achieved so much in the first 6 months of the year and we are all looking forward to the next half. It's hard to believe it is already August and we only have 5 months left of school to go till the end of the year!
We have just started getting into our topic about Oceans. Last week Nicky came to our school to give us a presentation about ocean life. We learnt so much about what lives in our oceans, their habitats and how they survive underneath the water. We then got to go around and look at the different stations that focused on these animals like the great white shark, krill, blue whales, octopus and many more.

Nicky taught us all about the different oceans in the world. We learnt that New Zealand is in the biggest ocean in the world - The Pacific!
We spent time watching a video about how Sharks hunt....we decided we would hate to be their prey!
